Premier Inn adapts its model for Indian market

Premier Inn will be keeping the needs of its customers well in mind during the coming months, as it upgrades its Bangalore hotel and opens the new Delhi hotel. Both establishments will boast a number of changes from the traditional Premier Inn business model. After opening Bangalore hotel in late 2009, Premier Inn’s first Indian hotel, it became apparent that clients were accustomed to conferencing and banqueting facilities that Premier Inn did not typically offer.

 

“We realised that there is a huge demand for hotels to have banquet and conference rooms, and decided to build these facilities in all of our hotels,” says Aly Shariff, managing director for Premier Inn India.

 

With customer satisfaction as its priority, the UK’s largest hotel brand will now be customising its approach to India and will offer a 200-seater conference room at Bangalore hotel, and a conference room seating 500 people at Delhi hotel.
